NFL Players I thought would be GREAT!

Watching NFL Europe and the Arena Football League got me to thinking about NFL players I thought we be fantastic. Some of these guys still play so it may happen...but if history repeats itself, then just being on my list of "potential starters" is like the kiss of death...

SUPER BOWL XXXIX

  Well, post-Super Bowl blues are finally here. The season is over (unless you count the Pro Bowl, which I personally like, but I think I am only one of three TV viewers who watch that game).

How about The Big Game itself? Personally, I think Donovan McNabb was not himself. He is such a phenomenal quarterback and yesterday he seems off his game. I was literally AMAZED at what Terrell Owens was capable of (bum leg and all). I hate that Jevon Kearse did not get to go home with a Super Bowl ring, but on the other hand, Corey Dillon needed one. He languished for a long time with the Bengals (sorry Cincinnatians). He is such a great back that he deserved a ring. One of the greatest tragedies of all time, to me, is that Barry Sanders never got to see The Super Bowl (as a player).

Well, here’s hoping NFL films has enough highlights to keep me satisfied till pre-season! Till then, here’s a wild idea…I think I’ll write a fantasy novel!
